- Simply because Dustin enjoys doing it. Jeff and Seung write the story for him to keep him from going crazy. It doesn’t work too well because he’s generally crazy for doing this in the first place. It serves another purpose to improve Dustin’s artistic skills while doing something he enjoys. He doesn’t do very many works of art besides his manga pages. Perhaps as well working on the manga will improve the writers’ skills as well. Each page is a chance to improve upon the last. Styles might change and some minor things might be missing or added along the way due to mistakes or as experiments. We do intend in the end to tell a two stories that can be followed, one the physical story the manga is telling and another of the improvements the writers and artist are accomplishing as they progress through production on this manga.

- No. It wouldn’t work in a book format because there won’t be any consistency from page to page much less an entire book. Improvements are continuously made.

- We don’t know. We will continue to fight on with this until we are defeated.

- Jeffro and Dustin just trudge through it, but we have no idea how Seung comes up with his ideas. He seems to pull them out of his ass at times. It’s a mystery to all of us.

- We did.

- It was originally temporary, but the old design was allowed to stay on. We all were complacent with it. We just finally got sick of it.

- A combination of many different programs were used. the website was programmed by hand with a lot of attention to detail. SciTE for Windows and skEdit for Mac OS X were used to program the website; Adobe Photoshop for both Windows and Mac OS X were used for graphics; and OptiPNG and pngcrush were used to optimize PNG images.

- Arnold Boecklin was used, but the text was altered to add uniqueness to the logo.

- We all learned slowly over time in our own ways. Dustin learned by deciphering HTML generated by HTML generators before getting caught up in web standards; Jeff learned on his own in his own way, but got into web standards upon Dustin’s prodding.

- Due to various difficulties getting Internet Explorer to co-operate with the layout of Dark Phantasy, we have resigned to provide this website to Internet Explorer users without a stylesheet. Though the Dark Phantasy website will function completely, its visual appearance will be severely simplified. Ideally, visitors will want to use something—anything—else, such as Opera, Firefox, Camino or Safari.

- Oh by all means do. We’ve created this site with blood, sweat, and tears; tested this site; and made it work with all modern browsers. We don’t care at all, but you might see us come after you with the mother of all shotguns, though.

- No. You have to learn somewhere.

- No. We only link to websites we frequent often. Sorry.

- No.

- No. Three idiots are enough. Trust me.

- Certainately. Dreamhost. They’re insane. They have excellent hosting packages for almost nothing. You are allowed a whole lot of flexibility in what you can do on your server. With their rewards program you could end up paying nothing for your webhosting or afford for the same amount of money to upgrade your account to a larger hosting package.

- Practice. He has taken drawing and painting classes in college and they have helped immensely. You get better through consistant practice. Never give up.

- Sorry, but we barely have enough time to do this.

- He uses a combination of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Corel Painter.

- Yes. He first used a Wacom Intuos 12×12, but has since moved to a Wacom Intuos3 12×12.

- Thanks. We try.

- Thanks for such a wonderful comment. If you don’t like the site or what we do then don’t visit.

- Shit! Where? *Gets out his glue.* Please notify Dustin if there are any. Sorry for the inconvenience.

- E-Mail Dustin and he’ll see what he can do about that question of yours. *Pulls out his shotgun.* (Just Kidding)
