With this new site design I decided to draw up some portraits for each of us to use on the website. I didn’t want the portraits to be anime style per se. I wanted them to look just like us, but with cel coloring. I had been wanting to do something like this for a good while because all you usually see are cel colored cartoons instead of illustrations of real people. After I did this one Jeff and I got the idea to actually use these for more than portraits on the website, but elsewhere as well such as avatars on forums we frequent and our buddy icons in our IM programs.

I had been badgering Jeff for a good while go send me a good picture of him, but his camera was broke. He got it fixed, so I got a picture. I never told him what I was going to do with it, so I sat down and drew him from the picture and then colored it. I think it turned out well. It looks just as ugly as he is :D.
