As you guys can see I’ve started drawing this thing. I actually started about Wednesday last week with some sketches. I’m sorry I didn’t update the progress before now, but I have. I am almost ready to ink the page at the present time. I will not make a news update for every single update to the progress of a manga page, only ones that are of any significance such as this nullification of the hiatus of the manga. For you guys reading this through Atom or RSS, I can’t think of any good way to implement a change in the progress of the manga through syndication. I could perhaps rig up a way to implement it along with news updates to where you would get an update to the progress of the manga like you would another news post. Doing so would perhaps break syndication for a bit which could do weird stuff inside your syndication programs whatever they may be.
We’ve heard that Internet Explorer 7 will not add display:table and other varieties of that family into its implementation of CSS. We really need to get the site working on at least one version of Internet Explorer, so 7 will be our choice. Jeff and I chose the Faux Columns method, and it has worked like a charm so far. Internet Explorer will not support generated content, so some visual features of the website will be missing such as the custom bullets for unordered lists and the arrows on continued links. There’s also some minor quirks in IE 7 currently that we can’t seem to fix, nothing that will hurt the layout anything to make it unusable at all. Still we would prefer that you use some other browser than Internet Explorer. Seven is bound to be as full of security holes as swiss cheese just like its predecessor has been. The only difference is that it does display webpages pretty well for what it supports at the moment.
