The title is an acronym for Yet Another Hiatus. My homebuilt PC has seen better days and is nearing its latter days. It has less than a month to live whether it dies mechanically or I shut it off for good. I have a laptop that is more than capable of doing the artwork, but the screen is too small and too small a resolution to effectively work on a 9000px image. It’s a bit slower than my PC used to be, so I’m just going to have to set yet another hiatus. I’m personally sick of these stupid hiatuses I’m having to set, the last one being because I was moving. I can’t update this thing on a good schedule. This one won’t be a very long hiatus as I have ordered a new Mac Pro.

Yes, I did get the loan for the computer. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. I was surprised that I was approved so easily. Oh well. I do have excellent credit for someone of my age. Because of what I want in the computer it could take up to a month for me to get it, but the sales rep I talked to said that it took two weeks to ship out the first set with that card; it might not take a month, afterall. Apple has always been rather liberal with its shipping dates. I guess it’s a sort of psychological thing. People tend to think they get better service if something comes in earlier than expected when a lot of times you get it after you expect it. Ha! I thought just getting ready to get the loan was a horrible experience. I think the anxiety from waiting for that bad boy to come in is worse, actually. I found ordering the computer to be quite pleasant, though.

As for after I get the computer… After I fight off assassination attempts from friends, I need to install everything. That could take a while. I need to migrate files from my PC to the Mac properly and make sure they’re okay. Stuff like this can take a while, but as soon as possible I will work on this page. I’m sorry for another hiatus, but I can’t do artwork on my computer anymore. It’s just impossible for the computer to take it. I can’t help it.
